Exercise Makes You Beautiful

Exercise has always been really important to me. I like to look and feel great.  I find exercise as important for my appearance as wearing nice clothes, shoes and make up.

The exercise you do and the food that you eat make such a difference to how you look and feel.

I am lucky that most of my friends, and in fact, most of the people I know, follow a healthy lifestyle. It is important as I am a great believer that you are the sum of your peer group.

Some of my friends join me when I go to the gym and there is no pressure when we go for dinner.  I am never singled out because I like to eat healthily, as we usually all go for the healthier options on the menu.

My career keeps me busy and I spend a lot of time on the road.  The gym has always been something I have struggled to make time for.  I love exercise so I wondered how I could incorporate more workouts into my busy lifestyle.

Something that has also bugged me for a long time, is the shape of my legs.  No matter what I do, I cannot seem to change the overall shape and that is something that displeased me greatly.

I started to look at exercise bike reviews online for advice and also one of my friends had told me what a great leg workout I would get from an exercise bikes. You can buy fold up bikes too, which would mean that I could take it with me on my travels.

I purchased a bike that would fold away, I could fit into the trunk of my car and it had lots of features too.

The bike was great as I could use it in my house when I was at home and transport it to my hotel room when I was on the road.

My diet wasn’t something I really changed as I always ate reasonably healthily and my weight was not an issue, staying fit and toning up my legs was the main aim for me.

During my research on the internet, I read that it was better to exercise five days per week and rest for two and on the exercise bike particularly, you would have a more productive workout if you worked slower for a more prolonged period.

So that is what I did.  I was fortunate enough to be able to work out five times per week and I never exercised for under an hour and always cycled for 16kms or more.  I am quite competitive so I would compete with myself and try and go a longer distance in an hour.  I always found I would push myself to go harder and harder for longer.

I have to say, I was reaping the benefits. I had way more energy and my mind was more alert. I felt so fit and my legs definitely changed shape.  I found myself wearing things I usually avoided, like mini skirts and tight leggings.

My experience using an exercise bike accomplished exactly what I wanted it to and although I did work hard, I have definitely reaped the rewards.  The results speak for themselves.
